Do you carry phuljhari, anar, chakri and other Diwali crackers?
Yes. Phuljhari are our sparklers, anar are fountains (flower pots), chakri are ground spinners, and bijli and bombs are firecrackers. We also stock rockets, Roman candles and aerial cakes for a bigger Deepavali show after the puja.
When can I buy fireworks for Diwali in Texas?
Texas allows a Diwali fireworks season only in counties whose commissioners court approves it. In 2026 our McKinney superstore is open for Diwali from November 1 through November 10, with Diwali itself on November 8.
Which NyTex store is open for Diwali?
Our McKinney superstore at 4000 E University Dr, McKinney, TX 75069. Our other stores open only for the Fourth of July and New Year's seasons.
Where can I set off fireworks for Diwali?
Out on private property outside city limits, with the owner's OK. Family land or a friend's acreage in the Collin County countryside is perfect for a Festival of Lights show. In dry weather, check for a county burn ban first, and save the show for your spot, not our store.
